Description

Introduction to Auditing

Auditing is the on-site verification activity such as the inspection or examination of a process or quality system, in order to check the compliance or non-compliance to the specified requirements of the standard. Typically, auditing is carried out before any trading with any company is engaged, or it is undertaken as a response to a triggered event eg; performance failures flagged up internally or by customers. These “for cause” audits can be challenging as they are rarely welcomed and could be classified as a “hostile” audit.
Paradigm Shift Consulting Limited itself can have an audit carried out upon itself by customers, or the regulator, MHRA UK.

Introduction to Auditing: What’s included?

This Introduction to Auditing course covers topics including (but not limited to) a lesson explaining the role of the Auditor, differing types of audit, planning an audit, types of deficiency and how to close an audit and follow it up.

Course Goal

An audit has the capacity to make or break companies, depending on what the auditor discovers. As a great deal of responsibility rests on the shoulders of the auditor, it is essential that the procedures for a successful audit are adhered to and engaged correctly. This course will enhance the knowledge base and common sense required of an auditor.

Who is it for?

The Introduction to Auditing course is for established auditors to refresh their experience and knowledge, for trainee auditors to understand the requirements and strict codes of practice and procedures for successful auditing, and for management staff in order that their knowledge of what an auditor expects can be enhanced.
