Our Falsified Medicines course was created as a useful introduction for any knowledge level.
This training course encompasses the requirements of the Cogent Gold Standard RP Training guidelines on Falsified Medicines.
It can be used as stand-alone training, or be included as part of our Cogent Gold Standard RP Training course, which contains a total of six modules. The modules can be undertaken as a mixture of both online and face-to-face learning and encompass (in full) the requirements of the Cogent Gold Standard RP Training guidelines.

The learning objectives of our Falsified Medicines course are:
- To understand the importance and requirements of intercepting Falsified Medicines within the supply chain, in line with GDP Guidelines 2013/ C 343/01 and MHRA HMR2012.
- To recognise and understand the importance of this activity within your company day to day.
- To understand and recognise the various identifying characteristics of Falsified Medicines.
You will also learn:
- What to do in the event of discovering a Falsified Medicinal product.
- The background to Falsified Medicines, it’s impact on end-users and the international effort to deal with the flow of illicit medicinal products.
