Description
Driver Training
Driver Training is new course designed to increase awareness and compliance capability in the very important task of goods transportation. The driver has a great responsibility in the task of transporting the medicinal goods safely from one supplier to client; as it does does not simply mean “driving the truck”, but ensuring the medicinal products are handled, stored, and transported with safety and care. The ethic of patient safety is as primary a concern for the driver as it is for everyone else in the supply chain operation.
What’s Inside?
The course will visit factors such as the Quality Management System (QMS), protocols and practices, which must be in observance of the established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). It will also take into account certain factors that are conducive to correct observance of the WDA License requirements, which also embrace items such as vehicle preparation, suitability and conditions which in turn will figure in Risk Assessments (RA’s) that may be conducted.
What will I learn?
The Training course will equip drivers (and their mates where employed as such) with the required knowledge and awareness to correctly ensure the product quality and safety is maintained during handling and transport, and that the required vehicle payload area conditions and environment is observed. Also documentation procedures, collection and delivery, general appearance and presentation is mentioned.
